Learn About the Game 1024

1024 is a sliding number puzzle with a simple goal. You move the board in four directions and every tile shifts with it. When two tiles with the same value meet, they merge into one with their sum. After each move, a new 2 or 4 appears in an empty spot. The aim is to create a 1024 tile before the grid locks up.

The grid has four rows and four columns, and space runs out fast. Every swipe changes the whole layout, so each step sets up the next one. Equal tiles only merge once per move, which rewards careful planning over frantic play. You can keep your highest tile in a corner and build a ladder toward it. Clean lines reduce stray pieces and open room for future merges.

Short rounds make it easy to try again and test different paths. Your score increases with each merge, and the colors help you read the state at a glance. New tiles add some uncertainty, yet good positioning keeps control in your hands. The game teaches through action and needs no long tutorial. Reaching 1024 marks a clear milestone, and you can push beyond it for a higher total.
