About Bomba
Bomba is a fast party word game for groups. Players sit in a circle, and one player holds a small ticking bomb. The goal stays simple. Say a word that fits the chosen topic and pass the bomb before it pops.
The round starts with a category, like fruits, capital cities, or words that start with S. A player starts the timer and says a valid word. The bomb moves clockwise. No repeats and no long pauses. The timer pops at a random moment. The person holding it takes a penalty card or a letter. After several penalties, a player drops out and the last person left wins.
Quick thinking helps more than a huge vocabulary. Each player can plan a short list before their turn. A challenge rule helps settle doubtful answers. Frequent category changes keep the pace fresh, like last-letter chains or only two-syllable words. A strict answer time raises tension and stops stalling. The game plays best with four to eight people but still works with more.
