Bloons TD 4 sends waves of balloons down winding tracks and asks you to stop them. You place monkey towers and gadgets along the path. The tower roster covers many roles. Dart monkeys handle the early game with low cost shots. Tack shooters lock down corners and tight bends. Bomb towers crack lead bloons with explosive hits. Ice towers and glue gunners slow groups and set up combos. Boomerang throwers sweep wide arcs across lanes. Spike factories add a safety net near the exit. Mortar towers hit fixed points and clear clustered waves. Super monkeys deliver heavy fire when the map gets crowded. Camo and ceramic bloons demand detection and focused damage. Big blimp-class enemies called MOABs act like armored targets that soak up a lot.

Progression feels steady and fair. You gain ranks and unlock new towers, upgrades, and maps. Each map changes the track shape and the space for builds. You pick easy, medium, or hard and plan around the round count. A freeplay option pushes past the usual end and ramps the health of late waves. A sandbox mode lets you test loadouts and bloon types without risk. Clear feedback and simple controls keep the focus on placement, timing, and resource flow.
