The game packs several rule sets with different goals. Some matches ask you to outlast everyone. Others push you to gather items faster than the rest or hold marked tiles for a stretch. Before a round you set opponent count, map style, difficulty, and number of wins. You also pick a character look with colorful outfits and helmets.
Power-ups drive the chaos. Extra bombs, wider blast range, and speed shoes turn a quiet start into a scramble. Remote detonators, bomb kick, and throwing gloves open tricky plays. Shields and hearts buy time during tight moments. The bots chase upgrades and set ambushes, which forces careful pathing and quick reads of the grid.
