Dude and Zombies starts with you stuck in the woods after a crash. Zombies come toward you. You must stay safe and keep them away. You shoot them before they get close.
Dude and Zombies also asks you to fix your vehicle. That makes the game feel like two challenges at the same time. If you shoot too long, the fixing stops. If you fix too long, the zombies crowd you. You earn money and you buy better stuff to help.
Dude and Zombies rewards calm play. You clear space first. You repair for a short moment. You go back to shooting. You keep repeating that plan. Each upgrade helps you last longer and escape sooner.
