Get to Know About Master Checkers (1 and 2 Players)

Master Checkers (1 and 2 Players) brings the classic board game in a simple, focused format. You can play solo against the computer or challenge a friend in local two player matches. Select a piece and choose a square to move. The turn updates right away. The board uses the familiar eight by eight layout with dark and light squares.

Moves follow standard checkers rules. Men step one space on the dark diagonals and capture by jumping over an adjacent piece into an empty square. The game allows multi jump turns, so captures can follow one after another in a single move. Reach the far row and the piece becomes a king. Kings move and capture both forward and backward. The round ends with a loss of all pieces or with no legal moves.

Solo play offers a steady opponent and rewards careful planning. In two player sessions the same board becomes a shared table for quick face offs. Work the center squares and look for jump chains to gain material. Keep a guard on the back row to slow kings and trade only when the exchange helps your position.
