Introduction to Nazi Zombies

Nazi Zombies began as a cooperative survival mode in Call of Duty: World at War. Four players fight endless waves of undead soldiers in tight arenas. Players earn points for kills and repairs, then spend them on doors and weapons. Each round grows harder and moves faster. The goal stays simple and clear: survive as long as possible.

Early maps set the tone. Nacht der Untoten delivers a small bunker with basic guns and few exits. Verrückt adds a power switch and split spawns that force coordination. Shi No Numa brings roaming perk locations and a swamp layout. Der Riese ties it all together with teleporters, automated traps, and the Pack a Punch machine that upgrades guns. Perk machines sell drinks that boost health, reload speed, and revives, while the Mystery Box offers random weapons for a price.

Strong runs depend on teamwork and timing. Squads manage choke points, rebuild barriers between waves, and rotate roles to keep pressure under control. One player trains a group in circles to steer spawns. Another secures a window or buys perks and ammo for the team. Early rounds reward knives for extra points, while later rounds call for wonder weapons like the Ray Gun or the Wunderwaffe DG-2. Quick Revive helps save a downed teammate when cover fire holds the lane. The loop mixes tight combat with simple planning and delivers steady tension from start to finish.
