Rio Rex lets a dinosaur loose in a city of hills, beaches, and tight streets. You guide a Tyrannosaurus rex through apartments, worksites, and beachfront blocks. Each stage asks you to break everything and stay alive. You smash walls and chew through vehicles to reach the exit. Explosions and debris follow physics, and the route changes based on what you hit.
Movement feels heavy yet responsive. The rex can sprint, jump, bite, and grab. You carry enemies or props in the jaws and then fling them into targets. Fuel canisters unlock short bursts of fire breath. The flame burns barricades, sets off ammo crates, and opens new paths.
Smart play starts with weak points. Break pillars and beams to drop a building fast. Eat foes to restore health and remove pressure. Use quick taps of flame to ignite hazards without draining the meter. Hidden collectibles and end-level encounters push you to mix bites, throws, and steady movement.
