Introduction to Who's Lying

Who’s Lying turns a simple prompt into a tight social puzzle. One player hides as the impostor while the rest share a common clue. The group talks in short turns and trades questions that push for details. The impostor bluffs through the noise and hopes to dodge suspicion.

Shuffle role cards and deal one to each player. Place a topic card in the center. The impostor draws a different card that does not match the topic. Start a two minute timer and begin around the table. Players make one clear statement, then answer one question. After one lap, take a last round of follow ups and vote. Those who name the impostor score a point. The impostor gains two points when the vote misses.

Sharp questions win more rounds than loud claims. Ask for names, numbers, and order of events. Simple prompts work best with mixed groups, like field trip plans or a bakery menu. The game fills a break with quick energy and resets fast between rounds. It plays cleanly with four to eight people and scales to parties with teams. Carry an index of custom topics and add house rules for silence or bluff reveals.
